How do I know that you are a legitimate company?
JD Micros has been trading since 2008. Our VAT Number is 934 5568 95. All of our invoices show VAT separately
Am I taking a chance ordering from you?
Unless otherwise stated, all products supplied by JD Micros are supplied with a warranty of at least 12 months. If you order anything on-line or over the phone as an individual you are protected by numerous consumer laws including distance selling regulations. Please note the Distance Selling Act does not apply to purchases made by or for a business (including sole traders). Full details of the terms and conditions of sales can be found here.
Will you give or sell my details to anyone else?
We only collect your information for two reasons: to enable us to process your order and to deliver it to the correct location. We will NEVER sell or give your details to anyone else who is not carrying out a delivery of ordered goods on our behalf unless we are legally obliged to do so. If your order is to be delivered directly from a supplier, we will give the supplier (or the delivery company) your address. If this is not acceptable, please advise us at the time of ordering. This may incur delays and additional delivery charges as your order will have to be delivered to us first. At no time do we keep sensitive information including passwords or credit card details.
Will I receive a string of e-mails or letters from you after I make a purchase?
No. Apart from sending you an invoice, receipt or delivery notification, we will only contact you to advise you of a manufacturer’s product recall or other information about items we have supplied.
What if I have a complaint?
We hope that you will not have to make a complaint about us but if you do, in the first instance please contact us. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as we can. If you are not satisfied with the outcome we suggest you consult Citizens Advice Bureau for further advice.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
JD Micros accept the following forms of payment:
- Bank transfer (full bank details can be found on your invoice)
- Cheque, when payment is made by cheque, we will not release goods or activate services until 2 working days after the cheque has cleared
Can I pay in my local currency?
All of our transactions are carried out in sterling. If you want to convert our prices to your own currency we suggest using the universal currency converter. This should only be used as a guide as your bank may charge a different exchange rate as well as commission.
What happens if the product I buy is faulty?
Although we make every effort to provide only the highest quality equipment, on rare occasions, this can still fail. Should this happen, please contact us as quickly as possible so we can advise you. Prior to returning the item to us, we may ask you to carry out a few checks so please make sure you have the item close by. If you inform us by e-mail please try and advise us of a convenient time to phone you. Full details of our returns policy can be found here.
Can I get a printed brochure?
Because JD Micros provides a tailored service for your business we do not provide printed brochures. However if you would like further information or a quote we are more than happy to provide this information in any form that is convenient to you. Please contact us to allow us to provide all of the information that you require.
How do I make an order?
At JD Micros we like to tailor our services to your business however if there is a particular item that you would like to order then please contact us and we will arrange the most convenient method for you to place your order.
In the process of repairing or upgrading your computer, laptop or server we may have to open folders to remove problem files or copy them to a safe place. At no time will we knowingly browse files or their content. If we do need to open a file of a personal nature, its contents will not be revealed unless there is a compelling legal reason to do so. Should we have to copy files to a safe place whilst the repair or upgrade is carried out, we will securely delete any copy of the files we hold as soon as you have confirmed that they have been restored fully or after 7 calendar days (whichever is soonest).
Can you supply outside of the UK?
We can supply products to virtually anywhere in the world subject to local laws and carriage restrictions. Additional delivery charges may be incurred by this. Please contact us to confirm the delivery costs. It is your responsibility to ensure that the items ordered are legal in the country where they are going to be delivered. Any additional customs charges must be met by you. We cannot provide quotes on customs duties in the country where the goods are to be sent. Under no circumstances will we falsify the customs label to show either different contents or price.
What are your delivery charges?
Our delivery charges vary depending on the item, the delivery location and whether personal delivery is requested. Full delivery costs are provided prior to your order being confirmed. As long as your order remains the same, we will not alter delivery costs even if our carrier increases their charges prior to the order being dispatched.
Do you offer discounts?
We always provide the lowest possible prices however if you have a large or bulk order we will negotiate with our suppliers to see if a discount is available.
Do you sell to trade?
We do sell to trade customers who meet our “trade customer requirements”. For further details please contact us.
Can I work for JD Micro?
There are currently no job vacancies available with JD Micros however you are more than welcome to send a current CV with a covering letter to us which we will keep on file and consider should any suitable vacancies arise.
